What we collect, plainly

We ask for one thing — your email address, and only if you choose to join the waitlist. We use it to tell you when Tome of Sessions opens. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

What we collect

Your email address, if — and only if — you submit the waitlist form. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information: there are no accounts, no comments, and no profile.

Anonymous usage analytics. We record which pages get visited and which links get clicked, so we know which parts of the site are useful. These events are not linked to your email address, and we don't use them to build a profile of you.

Standard server logs. Like every website, our host records the requests it serves, including IP address and browser version. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • PostHog — receives the usage analytics above. Your email address is never sent to PostHog.
  • Amazon Web Services — hosts the pages you're reading and the Tome of Sessions service that stores your waitlist submission.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies of its own, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. If you join the waitlist we store a single flag in your browser's local storage so the buttons stop asking you to join again. That flag never leaves your device — clearing your site data removes it.

PostHog sets its own cookies to recognize a returning browser. If you'd rather it didn't, a browser-level tracker blocker or a Do Not Track setting will stop it.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist addresses until the launch announcement goes out, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first.

Your choices

Write to hello@tomeofsessions.example.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You do not need an account or a reason to ask.

If you are in the UK or the EU, the GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Our legal basis for holding your email is your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form and can withdraw at any time by writing to the address above.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and the date above.
